The Help-Himalayan Youth Foundation Incorporated (HHYF) was established in November 2014. Youth initiated and led, a Not-For-Profit community organisation was formed by youth from Karen (Burma) & Bhutanese Refugee communities and Nepalese Youth living in Victoria, Australia is the first of its kind formed in Australia by youth from new and emerging communities on their own initiative to address their issues and challenges.
HHYF are a volunteer run organisation aiming to bring youth who are new to Australia from three communities and provide opportunities to develop network with other youths from wider Australian communities and connect with services of the government and community organisations that are new and unknown to these youth and provide them to explore leadership, advocacy, and employment opportunities for them and their communities.
Within a short span of time, the HHYF has made significant contribution to Australian communities. You can find some of theirinitiatives in other areas of on website. To mention few successful ones are: First New & Emerging Communities Festival; First New & Emerging Communities Soccer Championship Cup; First Youth Multifaith Forum and others.
