George Street Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc. (GSNCA Inc.) is a community based Not-For-Profit organisation that has been established for over 22 years. It uses Community Development, Strengths Based and Client Centered frameworks to respond to the needs of the community and deliver a range of services within Mackay. George Street Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc. is a place where everyone is treated equally and with respect regardless of age, race, gender or ability. At George Street Neighbourhood Centre Association Inc. everyone has the opportunity to seek information, develop new skills, build self-esteem, interact with others in our community and above all create positive change within their life.
George Street Neighborhood Centre Association prides itself on being a key resource to the multicultural and migrant community of Mackay and currently runs several programs and activities that specifically target multicultural community members. These programs include
