Established in 1977, Communicare has developed into a dynamic for-purpose organisation with an enduring reputation as a community organisation that genuinely cares. Communicare aims to create community inclusion and community safety by working collaboratively with individuals, families and communities to facilitate social and economic inclusion for all and establish and sustain safe and healthy communities.

Communicare delivers the Settlement Engagement and Transition Services (SETS) Program as Lead organization in partnership with Centrecare and Save the Children. The SETS program is a partnership between 54 Reasons (Save the Children), Communicare and Centrecare and delivers casework, group work and youth services to newly arrived families and individuals living in the South East and Southwest metropolitan regions of Perth and Mandurah.
