Migrant Information Centre – Eastern Melbourne (MIC)

MEMBERSHIP: Full Member

Migrant Information Centre – Eastern Melbourne (MIC-EM) has been assisting refugees and migrants residing in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne (covers the Local Government Areas of Boroondara, Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Monash, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges) to understand Australian life, integrate into a multicultural community and access services since 1999.

It also assists older people, younger people with disabilities and their carers who due to their diversity require assistance to access services that enable them to continue to reside in their homes. Diversity includes people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and/or those who have dementia, are experiencing financial disadvantage, are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or intersex.
