Kaveh is a highly experienced community services professional with over 10 years in the settlement and multicultural sector, dedicated to supporting newly arrived migrants and refugees in Australia. As a SETS Activity Leader at MultiLink Community Services, he plays a pivotal role in developing and delivering innovative programs that promote social cohesion, education, and community empowerment.
With a strong passion for language and education, Kaveh pioneered the Bilingual English Class initiative, which was recognised as one of the most effective learning models for newly arrived refugees. This initiative, featured in FECCA’s Australian Mosaic Magazine (2019), highlighted his leadership in coordinating Farsi, Karenni, Oromo, and Arabic language classes, ensuring accessible and culturally responsive education for migrant communities.
Kaveh has also led statewide training sessions, including hosting the SCOA National Settlement Outcomes Standards & Settlement Sector Quality Framework training, where he contributed to shaping best practices in migrant and refugee settlement support.
Through his expertise in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and multilingual community outreach, Kaveh continues to lead impactful initiatives that enhance settlement outcomes and create long-term opportunities for newly arrived communities.
