This two-day conference will be hosted by University of Otago, aims to bring together experts in research, policy and practice for sharing, learning and paving the way for optimising migrant and refugee health and wellbeing. The conference will adhere to a social determinants of health framework which acknowledges the multifaceted factors influencing the health and wellbeing of migrants and refugees.
In particular, we welcome submissions across time and space on both structural (for example, policies, cultural and societal values, socioeconomic position, health care access) and intermediary (for example, material circumstances, and behavioural, biological and psychological factors) determinants of health.
The conference will be held at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. For more information click here.
