The social and economic concerns of immigrants during the COVID-19 pandemic

In May 2020 Statistics Canada published a report based on their research about levels of concern of immigrants in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This recent study reveals that immigrants in Canada have higher levels of concern about their own health than Canadian-born individuals;  that immigrants are more likely to be concerned about civil disorder, social ties and the ability to cooperate; and that it is immigrant men who are more likely to report that the crisis would have an impact on their finances.
