- Driving Lessons Support
Understanding the critical role of transportation in independence, we provide access to driving lessons that help participants achieve their driving licenses. This service enables them to navigate daily life, access services, and enhance their employment opportunities. - English Language Support
Recognizing that language is a cornerstone of integration, we offer tailored English language learning sessions to improve communication skills and boost participants’ confidence in navigating their new environment. - Making Books in Language
We co-create personalized, culturally relevant books with and for our participants that explain basic needs and services, such as accessing healthcare, understanding public transport, and navigating the education system. These books are designed in the participants’ first language to bridge initial communication gaps and ease the transition process. - Connections with Services
We actively connect participants with essential services, including housing, healthcare, education, and community programs. Our team ensures that these connections are meaningful and culturally appropriate, fostering trust and long-term engagement. - Career Training Support
Maisha Bora offers comprehensive support for career training, including referrals to vocational programs, assistance with resumes and job applications, and guidance in navigating pathways to meaningful employment. We partner with local training providers to ensure participants gain skills that are both relevant and empowering.
