Indian (sub-continent) Crisis & Support Agency (ICSA) supports clients through case management, migration and settlement issues, and assists clients in learning to navigate Australian systems of bureaucracy, Family issues, ADVOs, mental health, community inclusion, advocating for individuals and on social justice issues (such as DFV and Dowry abuse, visa working rights), training workers and volunteers on cultural competency and DFV, conducting culturally aware events, particularly around many of the issues already stated. ICSA will support any client regardless of visa status, in any part of Australia, with a ‘no wrong door’ policy. If their needs are outside of ICSA scope, we make sure they are referred to an appropriate organisation for further supports.
