The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District Inc. is the peak multicultural organisation in the Goulburn Valley, committed to building a strong, inclusive, and equitable society where people from all cultural backgrounds are supported to thrive.For over four decades, we have supported people from refugee and migrant backgrounds through high-quality settlement, advocacy, and community development services. We work to ensure that every person has the opportunity to participate fully and meaningfully in the social, cultural, economic, and civic life of the region.Our work is grounded in a deep respect for the rich cultural diversity of the Goulburn Valley. We collaborate closely with community leaders, government agencies, service providers, and the broader public to promote inclusion, address barriers, and strengthen social cohesion.

The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District Inc. is a peak body whose mission is to promote and represent the social, cultural, and economic well-being of ethnic communities in the Goulburn Valley Region. We do this through the delivery of quality and innovative settlement services, refugee support, community development, ethnic landcare, and information and advocacy programs.
