MEMBERSHIP: Associate Member

The Australian Mesopotamian Cultural Association (AMCA), based in Fairfield, supports Iraqi and Arabic-speaking refugee and migrant communities through cultural events, artistic expression, and advocacy. Since 2019, AMCA has fostered community connection, cultural pride, and social inclusion by celebrating Mesopotamian heritage. Through workshops, performances, and public engagement, AMCA empowers individuals while preserving rich cultural traditions in multicultural Australia.

Our organisation provides a range of settlement services to support newly arrived refugees and migrants, including community referrals, language assistance, cultural integration activities, and advocacy. We also offer educational workshops, social events, like harmony day, international women’s day, refugee week celebration, Australia day and other initiatives to help individuals navigate life in Australia and build a sense of belonging within the local community.
