Africause is a leading African community organisation based in Melbourne, dedicated to supporting refugees, migrants, and their families to successfully settle and thrive in Australia. We provide culturally responsive services that address settlement challenges, including language barriers, access to education, employment pathways, housing, health, and social inclusion.
Our work spans youth engagement, women’s empowerment, family support, mental health and wellbeing, and intercultural community programs. Africause also plays an advocacy role, amplifying the voices of African-Australian communities and working with government, service providers, and partners to influence policies that promote equity, inclusion, and opportunity.
Through grassroots programs, leadership development, and strong partnerships, Africause builds capacity within communities while fostering intercultural understanding and social cohesion across wider Australian society.
