The settlement sector in Australia is committed to providing high-quality services assisting newly arrived people to settle well in Australia. As a sector, we are committed to supporting our multicultural society, and ensuring our nation is one where all people of migrant and refugee backgrounds can belong, thrive and experience fulfilling lives.
This booklet provides a snapshot of the breadth of work delivered by settlement services nationally. To highlight the work our sector does, we have drawn from the poster presentations at the 2023 National Settlement Conference. Over 30 of our member organisations from across Australia contributed to our poster presentations centring around the conference theme of ‘Building the Future Together.’ The posters highlighted successful projects and research promoting best practice settlement services.
