The Recently arrived in Australia? brochure has been updated. This brochure contains information that might be useful to you if you’ve recently moved to Australia. Settling in can be a challenging experience. As a new arrival, you may be able to get some payments and services from the Australian Government.

This brochure is accessible from the Department of Human Services website Information in your language  and Information in your language for community organisations pages. The brochure is available in 10 languages: Arabic, Assyrian, Burmese, Chaldean, Dari, Karen, Nepali, Persian (Farsi), Swahili and Tigrinya. As settling in can be a challenging experience, this brochure explains some of the payments and services our department provides to support people during this transition.
