The Summit came at the midway point of the ACT Government’s Multicultural Framework and provided an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to provide input into the Objectives and Outcomes that will inform a two year action plan for the ACT.

The Summit explored a range of themes that will inform future directions and plans for ACT multicultural policy. The key themes were:

  • inclusion and belonging,
  • economic opportunities,
  • health, and
  • youth

The Action Plan will maximise the opportunity for all Canberrans to enjoy the benefits of the city’s significant cultural diversity.
