Quality Standards
SCOA will soon begin working to develop National Standards for the settlement sector. This will involve:
- Consultation and discussion with the settlement sector regarding National Standards and Best Practice Models
- Capturing and highlighting examples of good practice in settlement services
- Researching Quality Standards from other relevant sectors / program areas
- Producing a manual containing the National Standards for settlement service delivery
- Seeking endorsement and recognition of these standards from government
- Providing information and support to help organisations to implement the standards
