Services Australia has several new resources for customers and communities about COVID-19 support:
- Translated audio files in 12 languages about Centrelink payment and access options and Economic Support Payments and Coronavirus Supplement are available on their sound cloud playlist at soundcloud.com/human-services-australia/sets. These audio products, along with its translated and English transcript, can also be accessed from their website at servicesaustralia.gov.au/covid19 . These topics were broadcasted on SBS Radio’s language programs last week.
- A new dedicated webpage for COVID-19 resources for community groups has been created. Here, you will find an e-kit to help organisations promote our payments and services to their communities. The e-kit contains 7 English information products about COVID-19 support, including a Family and Domestic Violence Checklist (which will soon be available in 30 languages) and an easy read booklet titled How we’re helping people affected by coronavirus (COVID-19). The webpage also links to translated information.
- A collection of short English videos is now available on Services Australia’s YouTube channel about topics such as How to claim a Centrelink payment, COVID-19 payments explained, JobKeeper Payment explained, JobSeeker Payment explained, How FIS can help during the coronavirus, and Creating a myGov account.
