Samantha is the newest member of SCoA. Having grown up on the Gold Coast, Samantha recently moved from Brisbane to Canberra. She has worked in the settlement sector since 2011, with her most recent role being the Settlement and Clinical Services Manager at Access Community Services Ltd. With experience managing the Humanitarian Settlement Program, Status Resolution Support Service and Harmony Place (the mental health arm of Access), Samantha is extremely passionate about the sector and is excited to now be contributing to settlement at a national level. With a mother from Lebanon and father from Zimbabwe, Samantha loves cultural diversity and is an advocate for multiculturalism.
Samantha has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours. She also has experience as a provisional psychologist providing therapy to newly arrived migrants and refugees.
Being new to Canberra, Samantha is looking forward to exploring the capital’s food, coffee and gig scene.
