Madi is originally from Maitland, NSW.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Relations and Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Sydney in 2016, and then a Masters of Development Studies 2018. Madi interned with SCoA in January and February 2018 prior to starting her job at the end of 2018. She is passionate about human rights and social justice and is excited to be able to contribute to SCoA’s important work in these areas.
Before starting at SCoA, Madi was a competitive gymnastics coach, admin officer, and academic tutor. She has also volunteered with the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Program (AIME).
Madi is relatively new to Canberra and excited to explore it all it has to offer. Madi also owns SCoA’s resident office dog, Tuffy.
