Tammy Wolffs has been the Chief Executive Officer of SCoA since May 2019, bringing experience from senior positions in the community and government sectors.
Tammy has worked in leadership roles in social policy, market and social research, program management, administrative law, communications and stakeholder engagement across a range of organisations, including at Carers Australia, the Department of Social Services, the Commonwealth Ombudsman’s Office and the Department of Communications. She has a BA Hons (Social Sciences) and Masters in Law (Government and Commercial) from the Australian National University. As the daughter of refugee parents, Tammy is passionate about settlement services and promoting social cohesion and a multicultural Australia.
Tammy is a Canberra local now, having moved from her home town of Melbourne as a graduate. Outside of work, her interests include live music, and she will get up to dance at the first note. She has also been an active volunteer in support of local artists, including through the Canberra Blues Society and by managing social media activities both for a band and for a promoter.
