David is a fifth-year undergraduate student at the Australian National University, currently undertaking an International Relations and Law double degree. He is currently researching on finding novel approaches to maximising human capital capacity in new migrant arrivals, by reducing overqualification and skills mismatch.
David is keenly interested in issues in migration and refugee law, and is currently volunteering at the Refugee Advice and Casework Service in Sydney. He has previously studied international law at the University of Geneva, and speaks fluent French and is learning Russian. He is seeking to pursue a career in Australian migration policy, with a focus on refugee and humanitarian law. In his spare time, he likes going to the gym, watching TV and travelling.
