Amores Simanjuntak

Amores is joining SCoA as a research intern under the Australian National Internship Programme (ANIP).  He will be focusing on gender and settlement in his research, and hopes to understand the best ways to accommodate the unique and diverse needs of women in the settlement process in Australia.

Amores is currently doing Humanitarian Specialisation in his Masters of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development (MAAPD) at The Australian National University, where he is sponsored by a DFAT Scholarship.

Prior to joining SCoA, he worked with International Organization for Migration (IOM) as Mental Health Programme Associate and was a qualitative researcher at TNS Global and Cimigo.
